‘Heavy Cartwheel‘

Au Pesado is more of a type of landing from Capoeira cartwheel rather than different cartwheel itself. The idea is to land ‘heavily‘ meaning simultaneously on both feet rather than one foot at the time. Even though the name of the cartwheel implies heavy landing, a skilled Capoeirista is able to control the landing so that it’s very soft and delicate.
